About
I’ve been teaching history at Mott Community College since Fall of 2006. Previously I taught history and philosophy at Olney Central College in Olney, Illinois.
My BA in history is from Hanover College and my MA in history, with a concentration in US History is from Indiana University at Indianapolis. I’m currently pursuing a Master of Liberal Studies degree in American Culture at the University of Michigan at Flint.
My research (when I do research) focuses on American UFO belief during and after the Cold War–particularly extraterrestrial contact narratives.
My teaching interests are fairly varied–Medieval Europe, the American 1950s, The Great War, broad themes of invasion and conquest, and other topics.
